Bede’s Archive comprises several thousand items, mainly documents, photographs and prints relating the history of the school, and materials by and about Old Bedians, both pupils and staff. We hold the archive both in Eastbourne and Upper Dicker and have welcomed wonderful support from our volunteer archivists over the years.
We are delighted to have the opportunity to begin a digital archive and have chosen printed materials which take us through the ages starting with the first printed Prep School ‘A Chronicle of School Events’ dated 1903 to recent Year Books.
This is just the beginning of long-term project to provide online access to some of the archive collection for your enjoyment.
